Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and site inspections.
• Assessing tender submissions and ensuring quality control.
• Acting as contract administrator on site and assisting with submissions.

MCA Architects is a leading architectural practice with a wide range of significant commercial, retail, healthcare, hotel and hospitality related projects. We have a strong design and technical approach to all projects and are highly responsive to our clients' requirements. The successful candidates will be involved in several projects at various stages, which may include an element of site-based work.

MCA Architects is developing several healthcare projects which require an experienced and self-motivated architect to fulfil the role of project lead. The position will require candidates to perform the roles of client liaison, design team lead and employer’s representative for both acute and non-acute public and private healthcare projects of various scales and at differing stages.

Requirements

We are seeking a senior project lead architect with approximately 12 years' experience and a minimum of 6 years healthcare experience. The candidate should have strong technical, site, design, and detailing experience across varying healthcare project types having covered all project stages from feasibility to handover.

The role will require a working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, CAD, Microsoft Project, or similar programme writing software, as well as the suite or Microsoft standards including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

A comprehensive understanding of Irish Building Regulations and design standards will be required.

Experience in applying HBNs and HTMs and a working knowledge of government forms of contract would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
