Job description

Programme Manager - Business Transformation

Location: Dublin
Working Pattern: 3 days per week onsite
Contract: 6 months rolling
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of concurrent business initiatives within a busy and evolving environment.

This is a business-focused programme management role, requiring someone who can operate independently, bring structure to complex initiatives, manage competing priorities and drive workstreams through to completion. The role is not intended to be a purely administrative PMO or coordination position; the successful candidate will have genuine ownership and accountability for delivery.

A significant initial priority will be a major office consolidation and workplace move, alongside a number of wider business and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent business programmes and projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Take ownership of a major office consolidation and building move, coordinating the associated workstreams and dependencies.
  • Manage stakeholders across facilities, HR, technology, suppliers and senior business leadership.
  • Coordinate facilities, audits, equipment, network requirements, suppliers and other operational dependencies associated with the workplace programme.
  • Support the assessment and progression of alternative office accommodation where required.
  • Provide programme structure, governance and clear delivery plans across a portfolio of initiatives.
  • Track and manage actions, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones.
  • Support business initiatives covering areas such as HR systems, resource management, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure decisions are made and actions are progressed.
  • Identify delivery risks early and take appropriate action to maintain momentum.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on business outcomes.

The role will require close engagement with senior business stakeholders, facilities teams, technology teams, suppliers and potentially landlords/property providers.

Essential Experience
  • Strong experience in business programme/project management, ideally at Senior Programme Manager level.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrable experience leading office/building moves, workplace transformation, facilities or property-related programmes.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, facilities, audits, equipment, technology dependencies and other operational workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and organisational change, rather than a purely IT-focused programme management background.
  • Experience working across multiple functions including HR, facilities, technology and senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience with resource management, onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors would be highly desirable.
  • Strong evidence of successfully delivering comparable business transformation, workplace or operational programmes.
  • Ability to establish governance, manage risks and dependencies, and drive delivery through to completion.
  • Relevant programme/project management qualifications are advantageous, although practical delivery experience is the priority.
Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will be:

  • Proactive, hands-on and accountable, with a willingness to take ownership rather than simply coordinate.
  • Highly organised, pragmatic and delivery-focused.
  • Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
  • Able to prioritise effectively across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously with limited existing programme capacity.
  • Strong at bringing together internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Collaborative and commercially aware.
  • Focused on achieving tangible business outcomes rather than simply managing process.
Working Environment

This role is primarily focused on business requirements and outcomes rather than technical delivery. However, the successful candidate will need to coordinate effectively with technology teams where network, equipment and other technical dependencies form part of wider business initiatives.
