Job summary

Irish Wheelchair Association in Ballycanew invites applications for a 39-hour permanent role as Programme Assistant – Driver. You will transport members safely to/from the Community Centre and lead service delivery within activation programmes.

Key duties include programme activity delivery, report writing, liaison with colleges, fundraising support, and ensuring health, safety and safeguarding policies are followed. Driving is required and flexibility for out-of-hours work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and delivering projects or programmes.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is required.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and transport safety is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of daily programme activities at the Community Centre.
• Complete report writing on programme designs.
• Liaise with local resources and colleges to create new programmes.
