Job summary

St Christopher's Services CLG in Longford invites applications for a Permanent Programme Director role. This 35-hour week position leads a team, oversees activation services, and implements the New Directions Programme while upholding person-centred care and best practice.

The successful candidate will hold an Ordinary Degree in Social Care or Nursing, must be CORU/NMBI registered, carry a management qualification with at least three years in leadership, and have a full clean driving licence.

Qualifications

Minimum Ordinary Degree (HETAC Level 7) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Nursing or recognised equivalent.
Registration with CORU/NMBI is required.
Management qualification with 3 years in management experience.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive.

Responsibilities

To be responsible for the daily management and operations of assigned units.
To lead a staff team within the activation services.
To oversee and implement the New Directions Programme in the units under your management.
To maintain the highest attainable standards of person-centred care, to promote optimum independence and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living.
To assist and co-operate in the smooth running of the assigned area.
