Job summary

St Christopher's Services CLG in Longford invites applications for a Permanent Programme Director role. This 35-hour week position leads a team, oversees activation services, and implements the New Directions Programme while upholding person-centred care and best practice.

The successful candidate will hold an Ordinary Degree in Social Care or Nursing, must be CORU/NMBI registered, carry a management qualification with at least three years in leadership, and have a full clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Ordinary Degree (HETAC Level 7) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Nursing or recognised equivalent.
• Registration with CORU/NMBI is required.
• Management qualification with 3 years in management experience.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive.

Criteria Essential

Qualifications

Minimum Ordinary Degree (HETAC Level 7) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Nursing or recognised equivalent.

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended), the profession of Social Care Worker/Supervisor is regulated.

Applicants must hold full and current registration with CORU/ NMBI at the time of application.

Applicants who do not hold full CORU / NMBI registration, or whose registration is pending, in progress, applied for, or awaiting a decision, will not be considered.

And

Applicants must hold a management qualification with 3 years in management experience

Desirable Experience

Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities

Experience of working in management/ leadership role essential.

Experience in the delivery of day services under the New Direction model essential.

Other

Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role.
