Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland offers before/after school and holiday clubs, operating on-site at schools with engaging daily activities for national-aged children. We seek a Programme Lead to manage a team, coordinate day-to-day activities, and engage with children, families, and staff.

Ideal candidates will have strong English, a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification or equivalent, Garda vetting completed after interview, and valid work permit. A car is required for travel between sites.

Job Description

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own car required for programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 of equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
• RTS 8.00-9.00 SAP 13.45-18.00 2 NCT
