Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage and inspire a team delivering after-school and holiday clubs. You will supervise activities, engage with children and families, and ensure safe, fun sessions from 1:30pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires a childcare qualification, English proficiency, Garda vetting, and a valid work permit. Own car preferred for mobility and on-site programme delivery across schools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with school-aged children.
• Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Garda vetting and work permit/VISA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day activities.
• Interact with children, families, and staff daily.
• Coordinate programme delivery from 1:30pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own car required for programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 of equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
