Job summary

Angloamericandebeersgroup seeks a Team Lead for the Segmentation production area on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ireland. You will lead a cross-functional team, drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives, ensure safety and quality, and own day-to-day KPIs while coordinating with support functions.

You will champion PPS, 6S, and continuous improvement, mentor staff, manage absences and performance, and report on productivity, yield and process capability.

Qualifications

• Strong people management/ leadership skills and the ability to lead, communicate and influence team members.
• Experience in a similar manufacturing role with lean and process improvement knowledge; Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• PowerBI skills are desirable and database query ability is beneficial.
• Knowledge of manufacturing loss analysis, process capability, yield improvement and structured problem solving.
• Excel skills are required; data-driven decision making is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Segmentation production area and manage safety, quality, people, delivery, cost and productivity targets.
• Drive World Class Manufacturing and Operational Excellence through PPS, 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage Team Lead KPIs such as monthly WRACs, PPS, safety reporting, VFLs and risk assessments.
• Promote a culture of safety, address safety concerns using formal reporting systems.
• Analyze production metrics daily to drive decisions on throughput, variances and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering on development, trials, validation and approved process/equipment changes.
• Provide structured operational feedback to Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain.
