Job summary

Amcor Flexibles’ Sligo site seeks an experienced Production Planner to balance customer demand with plant capacity and to ensure timely delivery of regulated packaging products. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and manage end-to-end planning, scheduling and efficiency of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in fast-paced manufacturing planning.
• Strong understanding of core production planning principles.
• Experience with ERP/SAP and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily, weekly and monthly production activities to meet customer needs.
• Balance demand with plant capacity to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor plan adherence and generate DIFOT reports.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and logistics to optimise material flow.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and communicate changes to stakeholders.
