Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking a Manager for the Supply Chain Planning team in Ireland. The role focuses on production planning, material scheduling, and coordinating with manufacturing to ensure on-time production.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in supply chain or manufacturing planning, strong SAP and Excel skills, and a CPIM/CSCP is desirable. Biological manufacturing context a plus; visa requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Proficient with SAP (ERP) and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QMS system is a plus.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP desirable but not required.
• Strong planning, scheduling and inventory control experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedule accuracy in SAP and release process orders.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and WCL to align JIT and Weigh & Dispense for timely materials.
• Collaborate with multiple functions to optimize data utilization and efficiency.

Job description

Position Summary

• We are seeking to recruit a Manager for the Supply Chain Planning team.
• The role will serve as a production planner for the site, responsible for planning for material and production-related activities, including commercial requirements, special projects, new products, and product changes in support of the Biologics Manufacturing Site.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring production schedule is accurate on SAP.
• Responsible for scheduling and releasing process orders in SAP.
• Responsible for coordinating with Manufacturing and WCL to ensure JIT and Weigh & Dispense area are aligned and functioning smoothly to ensure materials available for on time production.
• Interfaces with all levels of the organization and collaborates with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Validation, MS&T and QA to ensure utilization of data, systems and interfaces to optimize efficiency.
• Responsible for strategic planning / inventory analysis.
• Supports New Material Introduction process as necessary.
• Provides support to Supply Chain Projects and manufacturing/project teams as the Supply Chain Planning representative as needed.
• Coordinates with planner/buyers to assure execution of materials requirement process to support agreed production plan.
• Collaborates with Finance, manufacturing, WCL and maintenance teams to analyze material variances, adjust accordingly and identify opportunities for improvement through OpEx programs.
• Managing Supply Chain related investigations and change controls, working with teams to identify problems, analyze information, and develop and implement solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Competencies

• High proficiency with SAP (ERP System), Microsoft Excel and Quality Management System. Knowledge of Syncade MES (Manufacturing Execution System) an advantage.
• Must be proactive, able to anticipate, plan forward and react quickly to new information, understand a sense of urgency and react accordingly.

Qualifications

• BSc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or science-related discipline or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing role or similar with experience in Production Planning, Scheduling & Inventory Control.
• Experience/knowledge in cGMP Biologics manufacturing is preferred.
• Professional (APICS) certification (CPIM/CSCP) is desirable.
