Job summary

Anord Mardix, based at the D2 Dundalk site, is seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

You will drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma, lead and develop team members, coordinate with management and suppliers, and uphold quality standards across testing and calibration. This role offers a competitive salary and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in medium/high-volume manufacturing.
• 2–3 years in a management role.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards and a safe production environment.
• Lead Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team operations.
• Collaborate with Production Management to meet delivery timelines.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain a safe production environment.
• Manage the Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team operations.
• Collaborate with Production Management to meet delivery timelines, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues; implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support new product introductions and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks; provide guidance, training, and development for team members.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams on quality and process improvements.
• Oversee testing processes, equipment calibration, and standardization of procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure validated products before customer delivery.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years’ experience in a medium or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and empower teams, driving accountability and meeting tight deadlines.
• 2–3 years in a management role, thriving in fast-paced, challenging environments.
• Strong IT skills, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Project.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and time management.
• A confident communicator who can engage effectively with senior and middle management.
• Excellent people skills, capable of implementing performance measures and fostering team growth.
• Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset to tackle complex challenges head-on.
• Experience working in an Industrial Relations (IR) environment is a plus.
