Flextronics - The Flex Company in Dundalk is seeking a Production Coordinator to support a busy manufacturing environment. The role focuses on leading the Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in collaboration with Production Management.

• Investigate and resolve quality issues; implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support new product introductions and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks; provide guidance, training, and development for team members.
• Oversee testing processes, equipment calibration, and standardization of procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure validated products before customer delivery.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator. This is a busy and rewarding environment and a great opportunity to develop your career within Anord Mardix based at the D2 Dundalk site.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain a safe production environment.
• Manage the Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team operations.
• Collaborate with Production Management to meet delivery timelines, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues; implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support new product introductions and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks; provide guidance, training, and development for team members.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams on quality and process improvements.
• Oversee testing processes, equipment calibration, and standardization of procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure validated products before customer delivery.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years’ experience in a medium or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and empower teams, driving accountability and meeting tight deadlines.
• 2-3 years in a management role, thriving in fast-paced, challenging environments.
• Strong IT skills, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Project.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and time management.
• A confident communicator who can engage effectively with senior and middle management.
• Excellent people skills, capable of implementing performance measures and fostering team growth.
• Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset to tackle complex challenges head‑on.
• Experience working in an Industrial Relations (IR) environment is a plus.
