Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Owner (Matchmaking) in Ireland to shape the post-purchase journey, optimize activation, and deliver meaningful matches for paying users. You will own end-to-end product improvements, collaborating with engineers, designers, and data scientists to test hypotheses and measure impact.

You will focus on improving recommendations relevance, segmentation, and personalization to maximize early engagement and value for new users in a globally distributed, remote-first

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a B2C product role focusing on customer journey, activation, onboarding, or first-session optimization.
• Experience with large volumes of offers/listings and discovery-driven products.
• Familiarity with search relevance, recommendations, or matching systems.
• Understanding of segmentation and personalization to improve outcomes.
• Background in marketplaces, discovery platforms, or social/economic matching products.
• Ability to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, define requirements, and run experiments.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-purchase customer journey, driving activation and meaningful matches for paying customers.
• Improve relevance and balance of recommendations, increasing engagement and trust in suggestions.
• Increase meaningful engagement and early match quality during the first week on the platform.
• Design engagement mechanisms (gamification, nudges, reminders) to activate conversations.
• Leverage segmentation and enrichment data to enhance matching quality.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with engineers, designers, data scientists to execute improvements.
• Plan and run experiments (A/B tests), measure outcomes, and iterate on successful ideas.
• Drive continuous product improvements based on data and qualitative feedback.
