You will play a key enabler role in driving long‑term strategic procurement objectives, managing high‑value sub‑contractor packages, leading digital procurement transformation, and spearheading responsible sourcing initiatives across both commercial and residential sectors.
Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute long-term procurement objectives, category planning frameworks, and supply chain strategies for key sub-contract packages.
Commercial Focus: Manage procurement operations across diverse project portfolios, ensuring strong commercial focus across significant commercial, mixed‑use, and residential builds.
Supply Chain & Relationship Management: Cultivate strategic partnerships with supply chain partners to manage risk, drive innovation, and realize cost efficiencies.
Market Intelligence & Inflation Tracking: Monitor broader commercial market trends, oversee the company inflation tracker, and identify strategic opportunities/risks.
Digital & Sustainable Procurement: Drive the digital procurement strategy, champion eProcurement tools, and evolve the company’s Responsible Sourcing Programme.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports within the procurement team, setting clear KPIs and performance goals.
Data & Reporting: Produce high-level data analysis, board-level reporting, and executive presentations to influence stakeholders across all business levels.
7+ years of experience in construction procurement, Quantity Surveying, or supply chain management with a strong focus on strategic sourcing.
Degree qualified in QS, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or Business (CIPS certification is a distinct advantage).
Deep understanding of category management, contract negotiation, and eProcurement platforms.
Advanced analytical and MS Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint) with strong data presentation abilities.
A continuous improvement mindset with the drive to lead initiatives independently and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
