Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment seeks a Sourcing and Purchasing Coordinator in East Galway, on-site, 37 hours per week. Collaborate with internal departments to procure materials and services, source suppliers, place orders, manage POs, and expedite to meet customer needs.

You will deliver reporting with key metrics, manage suppliers for best cost and service, monitor stock levels, and support warehouse operations. 30–40k salary, 37 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Procurement/Buying/Purchasing environment.
• Diploma/Cert in purchasing or materials management; APICS helpful but not essential.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory and supplier management.
• Excellent multitasking with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Office; experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; collaborative role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments to procure and review materials, consumables and services.
• Source new suppliers and place orders; manage POs and expedite as needed.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly reporting with key metrics.
• Manage suppliers to secure best cost, delivery and service quality.
• Monitor stock levels; minimise excess and implement Kanban/consignment where appropriate.
• Oversee cycle counts and annual stock takes; review invoice discrepancies and support warehouse operations.
