Job summary

CPi Biotech is seeking a Procurement Coordinator in Cork to support inventory and purchasing activities. This entry-level role works closely with the Procurement Specialist and operations teams to keep materials flowing smoothly, with full training provided.

You will monitor stock levels, process purchase orders, update the ERP system, and liaise with suppliers, gaining hands-on experience in procurement within a growing Irish biopharma engineering company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Office/administration or customer service background is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within procurement.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help monitor stock levels and assist with regular stock counts.
• Track reorder points and expiry dates; flag concerns.
• Check materials availability against production schedules with guidance.
• Follow up on procurement queries and issues.
• Assist with raising and processing purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers on confirmations, delivery dates and delays.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement administration.
• Update ERP and spreadsheets; report orders and inventory.
• Provide day-to-day support to Operations and Quality.

The successful candidate would be joining the company at a key and exciting time in the company's growth as we expand our operations and customer base.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team in Little Island, Cork. This is an entry-level role for someone looking to start or build a career in procurement and supply chain. Working closely with the Procurement Specialist and the wider operations and planning teams, you will help with the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that keep materials flowing smoothly. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Inventory Support

• Help monitor stock levels and assist with regular stock counts
• Keep track of reorder points and expiry dates, flagging any concerns to the team
• Check materials availability against production schedules, with guidance from senior colleagues
• Help follow up on and log any procurement-related queries or issues
• Assist with raising and processing purchase orders
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and any delays
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
• Support the team with general procurement administration and filing

Team Support

• Enter and update procurement data in the ERP system accurately
• Help maintain spreadsheets and reports to track orders and inventory
• Provide day-to-day support to colleagues in Operations and Quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Background in an office, administration, retail, or customer service role is an advantage
• Basic computer skills, including comfort using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within the procurement function
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
