Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment (Ireland) Limited is seeking a Contract Manager to lead complex supplier agreements across Technology, Telecoms, Infrastructure and Network Services. You will drive negotiations, advise on risk and compliance, and collaborate with Procurement, Legal and Finance to align contracting with sourcing strategies.

Ideal candidates will have a Law/business/procurement background, 6+ years in contract or strategic sourcing, and a track record in negotiating high-value contracts

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Business, Procurement or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in contract management, commercial management or strategic sourcing.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation and risk management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate complex supplier agreements across a range of categories.
  • Assess contractual risks and recommend commercially sound solutions.
  • Lead negotiations on legal and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance and operational stakeholders throughout the sourcing process.
  • Support RFx activities by ensuring contractual documentation is aligned with sourcing strategies.
  • Interpret contractual rights and obligations and advise stakeholders accordingly.
  • Develop and enhance contract templates, standards and sourcing documentation.
  • Manage negotiations relating to Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements and associated commercial schedules.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across technology, network infrastructure, cloud services, software licensing and telecommunications sourcing.
  • Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage contractual disputes and supplier issue resolution.
  • Monitor contract compliance and identify potential commercial, operational and legal risks.
  • Escalate significant issues and risks to senior management where appropriate.
  • Support audit activities and contract reviews.
  • Act as the key contractual advisor to procurement and business teams.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Support business teams in understanding evolving technologies and associated contractual implications.
  • Lead cross functional discussions to achieve effective commercial outcomes.

Job Description

Procurement Contracts Manager I am supporting a global organisation undergoing significant transformation across procurement, sourcing and tech operations. Hence I need an experienced Contract Manager to support complex sourcing programmes and lead the development, negotiation and management of high value supplier agreements across Technology, Telecoms, Infrastructure and Network Services. You will work closely with Procurement, Legal, Commercial and Business stakeholders to ensure robust contractual frameworks are in place while balancing commercial objectives, risk management and supplier performance.

The Role

The Contract Manager will lead commercial and contractual negotiations with strategic suppliers and provide expert guidance on contract risks, obligations and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in supporting major sourcing initiatives, managing contract development from initial drafting through execution and ongoing supplier governance.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Development and Negotiation
  • Draft, review and negotiate complex supplier agreements across a range of categories.

Experience Required

Degree in Law, Business, Procurement or a related discipline.

6+ years' experience in contract management, commercial management or strategic sourcing.

Strong contract drafting, negotiation and risk management experience.

Proven ability to manage complex supplier agreements and senior stakeholders.

Experience working within complex, regulated or rapidly changing environments.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience

Experience across teleco, IT or cloud services.

Exposure to large scale infrastructure, data centre, connectivity or technology transformation programmes.

Knowledge of sourcing and supplier management best practice.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience within telcos, technology, infrastructure or cloud services.
  • CIPS, CPSM, PMP or similar professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
