Job summary

The PSM Engineer role at Hero Recruitment Group supports the design, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) programmes to ensure regulatory, corporate and industry requirements are met at the Cork site.

As a subject matter expert in Process Safety Management, you will advise site teams on PSM and other EHS matters, conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, ATEX), coordinate revalidation activities, review changes,

Responsibilities

• Provide Process Safety Management (PSM) and general EHS support to the site.
• Coordinate and support the HAZOP assessments, plus other process safety risk assessments (SIL, LOPA, ATEX).
• Coordinate and support the HAZOP revalidation programme.
• Assess proposed changes and projects from a process safety perspective within the Change Control process.
• Support Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve process safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with Seveso III regulations.
• Propose, develop and implement improvements to the PSM system.
