Job summary

Silent Aire, a Johnson Controls company in Dublin, seeks an experienced Process Engineer to support operational excellence through development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.

The role involves collaborating with multiple functions to deploy JCI Business System principles, perform root-cause analysis, and drive efficiency, quality, and safety improvements across the production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications
• Fluent in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of requirements gathering, process mapping and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements and technical specifications for system enhancements and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot product/system issues, perform root cause analysis and implement effective technical or process solutions.
• Map current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, integration and continuous improvement.
• Support the deployment, integration and sustainment of the JCI Business System across Silent-Aire.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess current processes, identify gaps and implement agreed improvement actions.
• Support the development and implementation of process improvement projects using operational data and analysis.
• Participate in Kaizen events and Kaizen preparation and other structured improvement workshops.
• Support the implementation and sustainment of process, technology and operational changes.
• Promote Lean principles, structured problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Provide process engineering support in new product and process introductions.
• Evaluate production line layout using Lean tools and techniques including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, Heijunka and Problem Solving.
