Job summary

Boston Scientific in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Process Engineer II on a permanent basis to develop capable production processes and ensure smooth transfer of products into manufacturing. You will assess process capabilities, drive improvements, validate new processes, and collaborate with engineering, quality and validation teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Engineering required.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex manufacturing/process issues.
  • Experience in process development, validation and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess process capabilities and implement improvements across multiple processes.
  • Apply technical knowledge to design, develop processes, tooling and automation.
  • Execute deliverables for PDP/TDP, Project Management and Quality Systems.
  • Prepare technical data and recommendations for reviews.
  • Write validation protocols and reports for new processes.
  • Ensure quality documentation (BOMs, Routers, FMEA).
  • Oversee development builds and project-related activities.
  • Contribute DFM input to the engineering package and potential IP submissions.
  • Train technicians and manufacturing staff during validation.
  • Serve on core/extended project teams for new product development.
