Oxford Global Resources is seeking an experienced Engineer to develop and validate processes in a Cork manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment and processes are reliable, compliant and capable of consistently producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities span product introductions, process development, equipment qualification, testing, and manufacturing improvements, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years' experience or a related master's.
  • Proven track record of working in a team based environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Innovative thinker with vision for better ways of doing things.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions and document activities per NP development procedures.
  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined by specifications and standards.
  • Lead or support capital acquisition, from equipment specification to installation and validation.
  • Analyze equipment data, conduct experiments, and participate in process review meetings.
  • Contribute to PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP related to product transfers and launches.
  • Complete capability studies for in-process inspection and document results.
  • Conduct MSA studies for new products and processes.
  • Provide manufacturing team training and ensure GMP and safety procedures.

Job Description

Our client in Cork are seeking an experienced Engineer to develop and validate processes in a manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment and processes are reliable, compliant and capable of consistently producing high-quality products. The successful applicant will work cross-functionally on new product introductions, process development, equipment qualification, testing and manufacturing improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with new product development procedures
  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
  • May lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation
  • Will analyse equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches
  • Complete capability studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation
  • Conduct MSA studies for new products and new processes
  • Provide training for manufacturing team members
  • Ensure adherence to GMP and safety proceduresReview and approval of validation documentation.
Key Requirements
  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 4 or more years' experience or a related masters degree
  • Proven track record of working in a team based environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, be open minded with the ability to recognise good ideas
  • Innovative thinker - should be able to envisage new and better ways of doing things.
