Job summary

Oxford Global Resources in Cork, Ireland is seeking an experienced Engineer to develop and validate processes in a manufacturing environment, ensuring reliability and quality of products.

You will work cross-functionally on new product introductions, process development, equipment qualification, testing and continuous manufacturing improvements. The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years' experience or a related Masters degree, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Requires 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Innovative thinking to improve processes and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring all activities are documented per development procedures.
  • Ensure process and product quality in line with specifications.
  • Lead or support capital equipment qualification, installation, and validation.
  • Analyse equipment, conduct experiments, and lead data-driven decision making.
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP for product transfers and launches.
  • Conduct capability studies and generate inspection documentation.
  • Perform MSA studies for new products and processes.
  • Provide training to manufacturing teams; ensure GMP and safety compliance.
  • Review and approve validation documentation.
