Quest Recruitment is seeking a PE Accounting Manager for our Private Equity Fund Accounting group. You will lead a team of accounting professionals, acting as SME on PE structures and ensuring timely client deliverables and reporting.

The role emphasizes mentoring, KPI oversight, and collaboration on global process improvements, with a focus on strong client relationships and performance management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 3+ years’ experience in Private Equity (desirable).
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.
• Solid understanding of the financial services industry and a keen interest in ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and accounting specialists, supporting their development and training.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on PE client structures and accounting processes.
• Manage client deliverables (SLAs) and ensure team performance meets expectations.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly/quarterly reporting packs.
• Manage client capital activity processing, including calls, distributions, and transfers.
• Review and prepare management fee, waterfall, and carry calculations.
• Prepare accounts and/or financial statements for complex PE structures.
• Participate in local and global projects to improve processes and deliverables.
• Regularly engage with your team and manager on individual and team goals.
• Conduct performance reviews and support continuous team development.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
