Job summary

Quest Recruitment is seeking a Supervisor for a leading financial services organisation's Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Dublin. You will lead a team of PE accounting specialists, oversee client deliverables and strengthen client and stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, with at least 2 years in Private Equity, and strong fund accounting expertise. You will mentor staff, manage capital activity, and review fees and distributions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounting operations or practice.
• At least 2 years' experience within Private Equity.
• Strong fund accounting experience.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and alternative investment products.
• Experience using fund accounting systems and MS Office.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Private Equity accounting specialists.
• Mentor team members through training, development and ongoing support.
• Develop strong expertise in Private Equity fund structures and accounting processes.
• Manage and monitor client accounting deliverables and agreed service levels.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounting packs.
• Manage Private Equity capital activity, including capital calls, distributions and transfers.
• Prepare and review management fee and waterfall/carry calculations.
• Prepare and review accounts and financial statements for various Private Equity structures.
• Review and prepare accounting ledgers.
• Review and prepare investor allocations and capital statements.
• Set and monitor individual and team objectives.
• Participate in team performance reviews.
• Communicate regularly with clients and help maintain strong client relationships.
• Review Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs) and other relevant documentation to ensure services are delivered in line with requirements.
• Work on local and global projects and initiatives.
• Act as a key liaison between clients and internal/external stakeholders.
