Job summary

Pontoon Solutions is seeking an Accountant for our Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Ireland. The role supports administration of Private Equity Funds, fund accounting and financial reporting.

You will liaise with clients and auditors, ensure deadlines are met, and contribute to regulatory returns, NAV production, and board pack reporting. Strong Excel/Word skills and GAAP knowledge are essential for timely, precise deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing management accounts and handling debits/credits.
• Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP/US GAAP and IFRS desirable.
• Familiarity with Irish regulatory/tax regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality service to clients assigned to the team.
• Liaise with clients and external auditors; handle audit queries.
• Ensure regulatory filing deadlines are met and service levels are achieved.
• Assist in regulatory returns including Central Bank and CSO.
• Ensure NAVs are issued accurately and on time.
• Process operating expense payments accurately and on schedule.
• Determine fund structure and detail needed to support NAV strikes.
• Communicate fund activities clearly with clients and investors.
• Establish operating arrangements at fund inception.
• Prepare and collate board pack reports.
