Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Limerick is seeking an Accountant to join its Private Equity Fund Accounting team focused on fund reporting and client service. Qualifications

• Experience in fund accounting or financial reporting.

Job description

We are looking for an Accountant to join a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team within a leading global financial services organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Fund Accounting to gain exposure to Private Equity funds, financial reporting and client management.

You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of Private Equity funds, ensuring accurate reporting and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and review of fund NAVs.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
• Support the preparation of regulatory returns and reports.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in Fund Accounting or Financial Reporting.
• Private Equity or Alternative Investment experience would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Irish GAAP, UK GAAP or US GAAP.
• Understanding of fund accounting regulations and the Irish regulatory environment.
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, proactive approach and strong team ethic.
