Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager or PM-T on complex platforms.
• Deep understanding of software engineering, APIs, distributed systems, and modern product development practices.
• Experience operating across multiple engineering teams, products, or technology domains.
• Proven ability to drive prioritisation and investment decisions in matrixed organisations.
• Excellent communication skills with engineers, architects, product leaders, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to evaluate, shape, and prioritise product and technology investments across the platform.
• Lead portfolio intake activities including demand assessment, capability mapping, dependency analysis, and prioritisation recommendations.
• Maintain and evolve the platform capability model to align with strategic capabilities and technology objectives.
• Identify opportunities for platform reuse, consolidation, standardisation, and technical simplification.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering leaders to ensure portfolio decisions support scalability and operability.
• Drive visibility and transparency of portfolio priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps.
• Act as a trusted adviser to leadership on platform investment and prioritisation decisions.
• Champion adoption of platform capabilities across internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate trade-off discussions across teams and domains to manage risks and investment decisions.
• Develop governance processes that improve portfolio execution and decision-making.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
