Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. You will define how enterprises build, manage, and scale context for AI agents and work with senior leadership and hyperscalers worldwide.

You will partner with data science and engineering to benchmark agent capabilities, evangelize the solution to AI developers, and lead a cross-functional team through a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
• Deep AI/ML understanding including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases and context engineering.
• Ability to lead across a matrixed organization and drive execution.
• Excellent communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with enterprise customers, sales and solution architects to understand requirements and priorities.
• Define and socialize a roadmap for core context engineering capabilities built on Elastic retrieval and relevance for AI Agents.
• Analyze the AI Agent market and trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to benchmark and evaluate agent capabilities.
• Partner with design to create user experiences that address context gaps as agents work.
• Evangelize Agent Builder capabilities through content and open source projects.
• Engage with cloud providers and developers in the AI ecosystem.
