Job summary

Scrunch, a Sitecore company, is hiring a Lead Product Engineer to shape how AI agents experience customers' websites. You will own and ship features end-to-end, working across product, CDN integrations, and AI traffic to deliver instant, AI-optimized content for various platforms.

This role emphasizes pragmatic decision-making, ownership, and using AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining customer value at the center.

Qualifications

• Senior-level product engineer with AI Agent experience shipping customer-facing features end-to-end.
• Ability to work with CDNs, HTTP headers and cache keys in customer environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and making pragmatic architectural decisions.
• Strong product sense and customer-facing communication.
• Experience using Python to build production-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Build product end to end from idea to production with edge functions.
• Deliver AI-optimized content to agents in real time.
• Onboard and integrate with customer CDNs and hosting setups.
• Understand how AI agents access pages and what they receive.
• Learn how AI agents and crawlers navigate the web and signals.
• Show customers what AI agents requested and what was served.
• Move fast with AI using tools to accelerate development and debugging.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions that scale with customers.
