Job summary

Brightflag, part of Wolters Kluwer, is seeking a Principal Technology Product Manager to lead the platform function across API, MCP, identity, and tooling. You will partner with engineers and architects to set the technical bar and drive platform scale in a remote-first environment with Dublin touchpoints and annual New York visit.

You will define the intake process for three vertical teams, own architecture decisions, and mentor other PMs while balancing delivery speed with sound engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management with platform or developer-tools focus.
• Technical foundation enabling architecture discussions.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts.
• Ability to design developer-friendly APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for Brightflag's Platform pillar: API framework, MCP server, identity and access, notifications, reporting, audit, and tooling.
• Treat vertical product teams as internal customers and resolve competing requests with transparent trade-offs.
• Own Brightflag's MCP server strategy end to end and align with engineering on architecture decisions.
• Define platform health metrics and write clear API/tool contracts for internal and external developers.
• Coach other PMs, shape team rituals for AI-assisted engineering, and communicate trade-offs credibly.
