Job summary

Brightflag, part of Wolters Kluwer, is hiring a Principal Technology Product Manager to own the platform layer including API framework, MCP server strategy, identity and access, and tooling. You will partner with engineering on architecture and drive alignment across three vertical product teams in a remote-first setup with Dublin touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management focused on platform, infrastructure, or API teams.
• Technical foundation enabling architecture discussions and API thinking.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and API platform patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for Brightflag Platform pillar (API framework, MCP server, IDP, notifications, reporting).
• Treat vertical product teams as internal customers and align roadmaps.
• Create intake/prioritisation mechanisms for competing requests and trade-offs.
• Define and track platform health metrics and write clear API/tool contracts.
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Mentor other PMs and shape responsible AI-assisted engineering practices.
