Job summary

PGIM Ireland in Letterkenny is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the Technology Solutions Group on a hybrid basis. You will build scalable applications supporting Portfolio Management, Compliance, Finance, Data Governance, Operational Risk, and HR teams.

You will focus on CI/CD, platform engineering, and operational excellence across on-prem, AWS, and Azure, with strong scripting, IaC, and FinOps expertise shaping the roadmap and security posture.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience deploying and monitoring services in AWS/Azure.
• Hands-on with Git, GitHub and feature branching.
• Designing/operating CI/CD platforms with GitHub Actions.
• Networking, DNS, routing, and inter-service messaging.
• Experience with microservices, observability, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Focus on CI/CD, platform engineering, and operational excellence across on‑prem, AWS, and Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to propose technical solutions and assist with implementation.
• Standardize CI/CD on GitHub Actions; automate build, tests, security checks and progressive delivery.
• Implement IaC with CloudFormation and Terraform for automated provisioning.
• Apply GitOps deployment patterns and guardrails for configuration, secrets, and change management.
• Drive FinOps practices and cost optimization across cloud resources.
• Advance DevSecOps alignment and SRE practices with observability and incident response.
