Job summary

nineDots.io is seeking a Principal Implementation Engineer to lead complex enterprise client implementations across Europe. You will drive the technical delivery from design to production, owning critical conversations with client engineering teams and architects.

The role requires deep API expertise, knowledge of OAuth/OpenID Connect, and cloud-based architectures (AWS), with strong communication and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with progression toward Technical Lead/Principal Engineer roles.
• Deep understanding of API design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing technical solutions across multiple integrated systems.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies such as OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures, ideally AWS.
• Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions with enterprise clients.
• Commercial awareness and confidence to make technical decisions in client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of enterprise platform implementations from design through to production.
• Own technical conversations with client engineering teams, architects and senior stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end integration solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Lead implementation workshops and technical discovery sessions.
• Define integration patterns, APIs, authentication models and data flows.
• Oversee configuration and integration work carried out by implementation engineers.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point throughout delivery.
• Balance technical delivery with commercial priorities, helping manage scope and technical risk.
• Work with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to improve implementation standards.
• Shape best practices across a growing implementation engineering function.

What You'll Do

• Lead the technical delivery of enterprise platform implementations from design through to production
