Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director, Principal Software Engineer in Infrastructure Platform Cloud Foundations Applied Architecture to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure cloud‑native platforms on public cloud.

You will define reference architectures, mentor engineering teams, and drive AI-enabled development practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP, aligning technology with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in public cloud architecture and platform engineering.
• Experience with Well-Architected Frameworks across compute, storage, networking and security.
• Design distributed systems, microservices, APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Experience leading adoption of agentic AI in development practices with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of cloud-native applications and platforms on public cloud.
• Define standards for generative AI features for multi-cloud management.
• Architect microservices, event-driven systems, APIs and distributed apps.
• Govern AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails for security and resiliency.
• Drive observability, monitoring, and cost optimization in platform delivery.
• Mentor engineering teams and set architectural direction.
