Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Employee Platforms Team. You will guide, design, and implement secure, scalable technology products with a focus on AI-assisted engineering practices and governance across the SDLC.

You will influence product design and operations, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software in a secure and compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in Python and other programming languages
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI, data sensitivity, security, and resiliency in workflows
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently

Responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams with measurable validation standards
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation and quality
• Drives decisions that influence product design, functionality and operations
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Contributes to the engineering community by advocating firmwide SDLC frameworks and practices
