Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to shape the security of our global cloud infrastructure. You will lead a high-performing team, drive threat modeling, and embed security by design across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to accelerate risk-based decisions and enhance controls within our CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes governance, documentation, and scalable security programs, with a focus on automation and AI-assisted security

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise security solutions.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support security workflows with validation.
• Ability to review AI-assisted code and ensure policy alignment.
• Advanced programming skills in one or more languages.
• Strong SDLC/CI/CD, application resiliency, and security experience.
• Experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and pentesting.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based design and assessment of security controls for cloud services and reference architectures.
• Set vision and governance for cloud security programs aligned to enterprise risk appetite.
• Drive automation of controls and policy as code within CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed security by design across engineering and product areas.
• Define guardrails and reusable patterns for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Mentor a matrixed team of security engineers and risk analysts.
• Define and report control effectiveness and residual risk via executive dashboards.
