Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring an Executive Director, Principal Software Engineer in Infrastructure Platform Cloud Foundations Applied Architecture. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications on public cloud across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You’ll translate strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and mentor engineering teams. You will apply generative and agentic AI to improve workflows, set standards for human-in-the-loop validation, and drive

Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in public cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience applying Well-Architected Frameworks across compute, storage, networking, serverless, containers, APIs.
Build internal developer platforms and reusable patterns.
Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Experience leading adoption of agentic AI in development practices with governance.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of cloud-native applications and platforms on public cloud.
Define standards to enable generative and agentic AI features for multi-cloud management.
Architect microservices, event-driven systems, APIs, and distributed cloud apps.
Govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails for security and resiliency.
Embed AI-assisted development and automation capabilities across the SDLC.
Drive observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and SRE practices.
