Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a secure, long-term role in a modern fabrication environment. You will set up and operate press brake machines, read drawings, select tooling, and ensure quality through inspection and tuning of equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings, job cards, and production schedules.
• Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials.
• Preparing, setting, and adjusting machines to meet job specifications.
• Measuring, aligning, and securing materials for accurate bending.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet targets.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience working to quality and inspection standards.
• Previous experience in a fabrication department.
