Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join a modern fabrication team. You will set up, operate and adjust press brake machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake equipment in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings, job cards, and production schedules.
• Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials.
• Preparing, setting, and adjusting machines to meet job specifications.
• Measuring, aligning, and securing materials for accurate bending.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet targets.
