Job summary

Vertiv Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our modern fabrication team in Ireland. You will set up and operate press brake machines, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet exact bending specifications.

You will work with fabrication and production teams to maintain quality, safety, and output targets. The role suits hands-on individuals who take pride in producing accurate components and working in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake equipment in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/work instructions.
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, can-do attitude and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings, job cards, and production schedules.
• Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials.
• Preparing, setting, and adjusting machines to meet job specifications.
• Measuring, aligning, and securing materials for accurate bending.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet targets.
