Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Welder or Fabricator to join our production team in Ireland. The successful candidate will fabricate metal components and perform MIG welding with some TIG work, reading drawings and following instructions, and maintaining quality in a safe, orderly workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of a skilled production team fabricating metal components.
• Carrying out MIG welding and basic TIG welding tasks.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and instructions.
• Preparing materials and finishing components using hand tools and grinders.
• Checking your own work and maintaining high quality standards.
• Working in a clean, safe, and organised environment.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience

• At least 1 years’ experience in welding or fabrication.
• Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Ability to follow drawings and work instructions.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience

• Welding certification or formal training.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
