Job summary

WatchGuard in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist to accelerate revenue by advancing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within the partner ecosystem. This role blends pre-sales product expertise with sales skills, partnering with Partner Managers to identify opportunities, deliver compelling demonstrations, and serve as a trusted security advisor.

Based in the Cork office and covering European markets, you will support the sales team with discovery, requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience (or equivalent) with partner-facing capability.
• Effective written/verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to run discovery and translate requirements into solution recommendations.
• Working knowledge of cyber security products and market.
• Experience using MS Office; comfort working in CRM workflows for activity and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level compelling product demonstrations and handle client inquiries.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in the WatchGuard platform, working closely with partner managers, providing regular pipeline updates to leadership.
• Use a consultative approach to uncover customer requirements and pain points.
• Enable and support the sales team with skills to position and sell benefits of the WatchGuard products.
• Demonstrate how our Unified Security Platform enables MSPs to deliver identity-based access and cloud-delivered security.
• Position WatchGuard's Unified Security Platform for managed services teams with a simplified, automated approach.
• Consistently meet or exceed quota/targets, demonstrating strong sales process discipline.
