Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced HVAC / Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join its pre-construction team in Castlebar. The role offers a hybrid working option for the right candidate and is based in Castlebar on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will review mechanical design information and convert drawings, specifications and BIM models into accurate, procurement-ready technical submissions suitable for client approval, coordinating with clients, consultants and

Qualifications

Five years’ experience in HVAC or mechanical building services or related field.
Experience converting design information into procurement-quality submissions.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specs, schedules and BIM models.

Responsibilities

Review project budgets and tender information with Estimating and Procurement teams.
Assess mechanical drawings, specifications, schedules and BIM models.
Develop technical submissions for client and supplier review; issue RFIs as needed.
Coordinate information with equipment manufacturers and external vendors; track submissions and approvals.
Liaise with Engineering and Installation teams during design and construction stages.
