Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Services is seeking an Equipment Technical Submission Engineer to join its Mayo team, with hybrid or remote working considered. This role involves converting mechanical design information into accurate equipment and ductwork technical submissions for procurement, supplier review and client approval, and requires attendance at Mayo office, project sites and client meetings when needed.

You will review drawings, specifications and BIM models, prepare procurement-ready

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC, mechanical services, or ductwork design or contracting.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and BIM models.
• Experience preparing technical submissions and equipment schedules.
• Knowledge of Irish construction processes and project delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Review project budgets and procurement plans with the estimating and procurement teams.
• Examine drawings, specifications, schedules and BIM models for submissions.
• Prepare equipment and ductwork technical submissions.
• Coordinate technical information with external vendors and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, comments, revisions and resubmissions to final client approval.
• Ensure accurate document control and revision management across projects.
• Attend client and design coordination meetings and support site teams.
