Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is assisting a Dublin West-based Chartered Certified Accountancy practice in sourcing an experienced Practice Manager. The role leads daily operations, oversees audit, accounts, tax and payroll workflows, and ensures high-quality client service.

The successful candidate will join the leadership team, shape systems, manage staff, and drive profitability while maintaining professional standards and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with 5–6 years PQE in a practice.
• Experience leading an accountancy practice or professional services.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Proactive approach to improving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the practice.
• Oversee workflow across audit, accounts, tax, payroll and company secretarial.
• Ensure statutory filing deadlines are met.
• Monitor work in progress and capacity planning.
• Improve internal systems and operational processes.
• Drive efficiency and profitability across the practice.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants and admin staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and staff development.
• Support onboarding of new clients and recruitment.
