Job description

Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking company based in Dublin, currently seeking a Practice Accountant to join their team. They are looking for a Practice Accountant with experience in Management Accounting. This position would best suit an enthusiastic and self-driven individual who is organised.

Responsibilities:

• Create monthly/quarterly management reports and year-end statutory accounts that do not require auditing.
• Aid clients in setting up financial control systems in accordance with company secretarial regulations.
• Develop proficiency in various accounting software programs which include Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, and propose suitable software and tools to clients.
• Contribute to the company’s accounting technology strategy and oversee the introduction of new accounting solutions
• Handle internal administrative responsibilities like managing timesheets and invoicing.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA certification
• Experience in the Irish market is essential
• 2 years+ relevant post-qualification experience with a strong background in management accounting and technology.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
