We are seeking a Fully Qualified Practice Accountant living in Cork to take ownership of a portfolio and grow with the firm. The role offers flexible hours, real client exposure across accounting, tax and advisory services, and a

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong VAT, payroll, bookkeeping and tax compliance knowledge.
• Experience with QuickBooks or Xero.
• Excellent client communication and deadline management.
• Self-motivated with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare and file income tax, corporation tax, and VAT returns.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and be a primary contact.
• Respond to client queries promptly.
• Prepare management accounts and assist with financial reporting.
• Oversee bookkeeping and payroll for clients.
• Handle Revenue registrations and correspondence.
• Assist with company secretarial duties (annual returns, RBO filings).
• Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows.
