Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Group Estimating Manager for its Power & Renewables division. You will lead the estimating function, influence major bids, and ensure commercial and technical excellence across complex projects.

You will mentor a high-performing team, partner with engineering, operations and commercial groups, and shape estimating strategies to win work while upholding governance and information security standards.

Qualifications

• Significant estimating leadership experience within Power, Renewables, Utilities, or related sectors.
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing estimating teams.
• Experience managing complex tenders from enquiry to adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating function across Power & Renewables projects.
• Drive excellence through tendering, bid management and adjudications.
• Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing team of estimators.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Managers and senior leaders to ensure high-quality submissions.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, estimating systems and best practices.
