Job summary

Tyndall National Institute invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Optical Design and Advanced Packaging. Qualifications

  • Experience in design and simulation of optical/photonic devices, components or systems.
  • Experience with optical, electromagnetic or multiphysics simulation software.
  • Experience in laboratory-based experimental validation of concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, model, and simulate optical devices, components and systems for advanced packaging.
  • Develop and validate new optical design methodologies and optimise packaging processes by experiments.
  • Collaborate with researchers to translate design concepts into validated prototypes and demonstrators.
  • Contribute to development and characterisation of advanced packaging technologies in projects.
