Policy and Economic Analyst - Public Sector
Permanent full-time role| Hybrid in Dublin 1 | €64,000 plus benefits

We're recruiting an Analyst - Policy & Analytics to join a highly regarded regulatory organisation in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining regulatory policy, economic/financial analysis and data to help shape decisions with real market and consumer impact.

You’ll work across regulatory policy and analysis, including:
  • Conducting market research and analysing financial, pricing and market data

  • Supporting the development and review of regulatory policy

  • Drafting consultations and assessing stakeholder responses

  • Reviewing regulatory requirements, financial information and cost allocations

  • Using data and BI tools to identify trends and provide evidence-based insights

  • Working with stakeholders across Ireland and at European level

Non-negotiable requirements:
  • Third-level degree in Accounting, Economics or Regulation

  • Demonstrable project management experience

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent written and stakeholder communication skills

Particularly desirable:

Experience within a regulator, regulated industry, government or regulatory consultancy, alongside exposure to regulatory frameworks, public consultations, financial/cost analysis or Power BI.

Postal, logistics or e-commerce experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
